In addition to access to new technologies, the agreement involves cooperation in activities such as the organisation of seminars, studies and information gathering to promote good practices in water management and the development of sustainable development projects.

Taking into account the importance that water care has acquired, the Association of Municipalities of Chile (Amuch) and the company AQUA4D Latam signed a collaboration agreement for the transfer of water technology to the municipalities of the association.

The agreement was signed by the president of Amuch and mayor of Zapallar, Gustavo Alessandri, and Felipe Villarino, CEO of AQUA4D Latam, the latin american branch office of the Swiss company specialised in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to optimise water resources through its technology and service.

We are very happy to sign this agreement. We know that it brings us closer to a water saving technology, a resource that is increasingly scarce and that we must know how to take care of,”

Gustavo Alessandri, President of Amuch and mayor of Zapallar

Villarino added that “this agreement allows us to scale up the impact we are having on water efficiency in the public sector. There is a huge challenge in issues such as the maintenance of city green areas and their correct and efficient water management in irrigation, as well as technification and solutions to recirculate water that is being wasted. It also allows us to strengthen our relationship with the municipalities we are working with and to make ourselves known to others who are in need of water efficiency.”

The agreement also contemplates cooperation in joint activities such as the organisation of seminars, congresses, studies, perception surveys, analysis and collection of information that promotes good practices in water management and the development of sustainable development projects, among others.

AQUA4D develop projects with environmental and social challenges caused by water scarcity, promoting the responsible use of water in industries such as Agriculture, Urban Green Areas, Buildings, Industries and Mining.
